Dinesh Manocha

He is currently the Phi Delta Theta/Mason Distinguished Professor of Computer Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He received his Ph.D. n Computer Science at the University of California at Berkeley 1992. He has received Junior Faculty Award, Alfred P. Sloan Fellowship, NSF Career Award, Office of Naval Research Young Investigator Award, Honda Research Initiation Award, Hettleman Prize for Scholarly Achievement. Along with his students, Manocha has also received 12 best paper awards at the leading conferences on graphics, geometric modeling, visualization, multimedia and high-performance computing. He has published more than 330 papers and some of the software systems related to collision detection, GPU-based algorithms and geometric computing developed by his group have been downloaded by more than 100,000 users and are widely used in the industry. He has supervised 21 Ph.D. dissertations and is a fellow of ACM, AAAS, and IEEE. He received Distinguished Alumni Award from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.

Sören Schwertfeger

He received his Diploma (German equivalent of the Master) in Computer Science in 2005 from the University of Bremen in Germany. In 2012 he received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Jacobs University Bremen, Germany. Between 2012 and 2014 he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Robotics Group of Prof. Andreas Birk at the Jacobs University Bremen. In 2010 Dr. Schwertfeger was a guest researcher at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA, where he did research on robot performance evaluation and map quality assessment. In 2015 he also was a guest researcher at UC Berkeley.
His research interest is in robotics, especially in intelligent functions for mobile robots. Besides his work on map evaluation, Dr. Schwertfeger also worked and published on mapping, object detection and robot autonomy. He successfully participated in many robot competitions, both as team member and as judge and organizer. Dr. Schwertfeger was the chair of the 2014 German Open RoboCup Rescue competition. In 2011 he won the best paper award at the International Workshop on Safety, Security, and Rescue Robotics (SSRR). He is the reviewer for many top journals and conferences in the area of robotics.

Yiyu Cai

Dr Yiyu Cai has been doing interdisciplinary research on Virtual Reality, Robotics, and their applications in Engineering, Education, and Medicine with 7 international patents invented. Currently with Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, Dr Cai is Professor in charge of the Computer-aided Engineering Labs. He directs The Strategic Research Program of VR and Soft Computing. He is also a member of The Robotics Research Center taking care of the Infrastructure & Construction Robots. He is former president of International Simulation and Gaming.

潘佳 (Pan Jia)

He received his B.E. from Department of Automation, Tsinghua University in 2005 and Master degree from National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition, Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2008. He obtained his PhD in CS department in The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, U.S.A. in 2013.
From 2013 to 2014, he worked in Robot Learning Lab as a postdoc researcher in UC Berkeley (Pieter Abbeel's group).
He is now an assistant professor in the City University of Hong Kong.
His research area is intelligent grasping and manipulation, including motion planning, deformable object manipulation, learning from demonstration, reinforcement learning and planning with uncertainty.

IBM中国研究院资深研究员,专注于计算机视觉与机器学习及相关解决方案的研发。
近年来在计算机视觉、人工智能国际顶级会议和期刊CVPR/ICCV/ECCV/ICML/IJCAI/AAAI/T-IP/T-PAMI发表论文近20篇,含第一作者论文10 篇。严骏驰博士也是中国计算机学会多媒体技术专业委员会委员和华东师范大学在站博士后,负责IBM与华东师范大学、上海纽约大学的联合研究项目。




陈士凯

上海思岚科技有限公司(SLAMTEC)CEO

08年毕业于上海交通大学,毕业后在微软亚洲研究院(MSRA)实习。后来在英特尔亚太研发有限公司软件与服务事业部(SSG)担任软件工程师,11年进入盛大创新院。之后在RoboPeak一支机器人研发团队的基础上创办了Slamtec。主要提供消费级产品领域的高性能机器人定位导航解决方案及相关核心传感器。主要产品包括低成本360度激光扫描测距雷达(RPLIDAR)、基于激光的模块化自主定位导航解决方案(SLAMWARE)与适于商业环境的通用型服务机器人平台(ZEUS)。





佘元博

爱啃萝卜机器人创始人

2009年毕业于华中科技大学机械学院,获计算机第二学位。
2015年毕业于南京大学计算机软件新技术国家重点实验室机器学习与数据挖掘研究组(LAMDA),师从周志华教授。
现任爱啃萝卜机器人CEO,机器人系统架构师。

王莹(Ying Wang)

Dr. Wang’s research interests focus on computer vision, robotic vision and automation control. From 2012 to 2016, Dr. Wang worked as scientific researcher at the institute cluster of IMA/ZLW&IfU of the faculty of Mechanical Engineering at RWTH Aachen University, Germany. Early 2016, Dr. Wang received her PhD in RWTH Aachen University with an overall grade “SEHR GUT”/“MAGNA CUM LAUDE”. She published the book “A Visual Servoing Approach to Human-robot Interactive Object Transfer”, based on her doctoral dissertation. Currently, Dr. Ying Wang works as Computer Vision Algorithm Engineer with BoTech.

赵永华

2016年毕业于哈尔滨工业大学深圳研究生院,控制科学与工程工学硕士。
2014-2015年,在香港中文大学机器人与智能制造实验室担任研究助理,有基于Zigbee的太阳能路灯控制系统设计、四旋翼控制系统设计、基于二维码的天花板视觉SLAM等丰富的项目经验。
现任职于上海思岚科技有限公司(SLAMTEC) 算法工程师,对于SLAM算法、ROS(机器人操作系统)、C/C++程序开发、Windows/Ubuntu程序开发等技术有丰富的实操经验。
主要管理RPLIDAR在ROS社区的运营。




李承

Cheng Li received the B.S. degree in control science and engineering from Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China, in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree in electronic and computer engineering from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong, China, in 2015.

He is currently a Scientist with ABB Corporation Research Center, Shanghai, China. His research interests include robot calibration, motion control, parallel robots and robot applications.

2015年参加Intel RealSense大赛,进入决赛,作品为基于ROS的社交机器人。
申请发明专利5项。

2012年毕业于清华大学本科;
随后保送至清华博士研究生。

研究课题为视觉SLAM。曾在Robotics and autonomous systems、Autonomous Robots等期刊上发表过学术论文。撰写过一系列SLAM技术博客。
